Dear children and young people, dear parents, friends and interested parties,

For the past two weeks, we've been on television regularly (a total of eight times) on THE COLLEGIUM Forum & Television Program Berlin. It's all in English because the interviewee is Professor Donald Muldrow Griffith, who is American. So it wasn't just broadcast in Germany, but also in America. We're also sending it to Kenya now so it can be shown there as well.

And why all this? Well, because we want to perform our children's musical in Kenya this year, and that costs money, a lot of money. That's why our interview is circulating around the world, to find sponsors. And because so many people around the world speak English, our interview is also in English.

Everyone involved in the musical already knows Elijohn. He's very famous in Kenya and sang one of his songs during the interview.
(Elijohn Kariuki / MWATHANI)

Elijohn is Kikuyu and teaches us songs in Kikuyu and Shuaheli from Kenya, such as this one:
(Jambo Bwana)

And Bridget and Damaris (Dani), you already know them. They are Luo and help us with the Luo language and culture—and above all, they are our dance teachers. They were also present at our interview and performed a dance called WASSA.

(Bridget Ochieng and Damaris Otieno performing WASSA)

Please forward this too, tell everyone about it.

Oh yes, and before I forget, we don't rehearse during the holidays. The next rehearsal is on April 17th, as usual, Tuesdays at Afrika Yetu and Thursdays at One Afrika. Here's the link again. Link to the flyer

Happy Easter eggs and see you very soon!

Yours, Sonja
