      Ich habe ein Recht auf eine Toilette!
      Auf dem Bild seht ihr den Toilettenblock der Grundschule Kounoune. 
      Dieser Block wird von allen Schüler:innen genutzt. 
      Aber es gibt keine Privatsphäre.
      Die Schüler:innen halten sich zurück, wenn sie auf die Toilette müssen. 
      Das ist nicht gut für die Gesundheit. Es kann zu Problemen beim Wasserlassen führen, insbesondere bei kleinen Mädchen. 
      Während des Workshops hat das Team eine Spendenaktion gestartet und konnte 3.474,25 € sammeln, um die Toiletten zu renovieren!

      “Wer hat die Wasserpumpe kaputt gemacht ?”

      Der Trickfilm “Wer hat die Wasserpumpe kaputt gemacht” erzählt die Geschichte von Yvette aus Frankreich, die ihre Großeltern im Senegal und die Grundschule in Kounoune besucht.

      Cousin Amadou wird vom Lehrer beschuldigt, die Wasserpumpe kaputt gemacht zu haben. Yvette gründet einen Dedektivclub um herauszufinden, wer die Pumpe kaputt gemacht hat und wie sie wieder repariert werden könnte.

      18 Kinder und Jugendliche aus Berlin haben gemeinsam mit dem GNGB Team diesen Trickfilm erschaffen.

      Neueröffnung des Family Space Café GNG

      Das Denkmal der afrikanischen Wiedergeburt

      Kennt ihr das größte Denkmal auf dem afrikanischen Kontinent? Es heißt Denkmal der afrikanischen Wiedergeburt, ist 52 Meter hoch und steht in Dakar, der Hauptstadt vom Senegal.

      I have to go to the toilet!


      In the picture you can see the toilet block at Kounoune primary school.
      This block is used by all pupils.
      But there is no privacy.
      The pupils keep to themselves when they have to go to the toilet.
      This is not good for their health. It can lead to urination problems, especially for little girls.
      During the workshop, the team started a fundraising campaign and was able to raise €3,474.25 to renovate the toilets!

      “Who broke the water pump?”

      The animated film "Who broke the water pump?" tells the story of Yvette from France, who visits her grandparents in Senegal and the primary school in Kounoune.

      Cousin Amadou is accused by the teacher of breaking the water pump. Yvette founds a detective club to find out who broke the pump and how it could be repaired.

      18 children and young people from Berlin created this animated film together with the GNGB team.

      Opening of the Family Space GNG Café
      On the 2nd of February we will open the doors of the new Global New Generation Café. The opening hours will be from Monday to Friday from 11am to 6pm in the GNG Family Space.
