The administrators reserve the right to delete insulting or discriminatory comments. Such decisions will be made transparent and justified.
In extreme cases members can be excluded.
Discriminatory are expressions which assume or deny people abilities due to group membership, which degrade or other people (to the “other”), and which therefore exclude individual consideration.
Even though we try to give each other hints and advice, a personal, qualified consultation cannot take place here, because we cannot provide professional legal advisers or counsellors for psychosocial questions here in the group.
Before we share something, we pay attention to the following:
How long has the account of the person (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) whose mail we want to share been there?
Very few followers, hardly any postings and a very new profile should arouse scepticism.
Are the postings consistent in terms of time and content ?
Does the account have a blue verification hook?
Is it an online magazine? To find out, just go to the imprint or check if an imprint exists at all.
Without an imprint there is no information about the author, so it is dubious.
Please share social media articles only if there is a reference.
There are cases in which false reports appear in the design of well-known media brands.
Here a look at the web address in the browser line helps. Often the URL differs from the original by an addition like a hyphen or an ending like .net.
Basically, we should look at the date of a report and enter the headline in a search engine. Do other media also report about this case? Are there several sources? No? Then please look critically.
