SOW DIVERSITY, HARVEST DIVERSITY

Is this art or can it be thrown away?

What happens when you plant curiosity and nurture commitment?

Humanity reaps the rewards of a strong community!

From April to December 2025, we have been working on the project „"Sow diversity, reap diversity"“ proved that climate protection and global learning can be really fun.

In three stages, we took a closer look at our (surrounding) world.

From garbage detectives to garden heroes

Upcycling magic

In our workshop, "trash" was turned into real gold.! We have learned what our waste has to do with the health of people in the Global South and how we can conserve resources through upcycling..

In use

We've spread out! Whether it's the construction of luxury insect hotels at Nowhere eV. or while breathing in the country air in the Dahlem Estate – we experienced Berlin's urban nature with all our senses.

Creative minds

We became media professionals for the finale! We packed our experiences into storyboards and wrote texts to spread our message to the world..

Especially proud
are we focused on our creative results

Our highlights

The comic book

Using the knowledge we gathered, we created our own comic to make the topics of waste prevention and global responsibility accessible to the general public in an entertaining way..

Interactive learning environment

To educate children about waste and biodiversity in a child-friendly way, we have developed the interactive learning module "Mission: Save the Earth".. This helped us to playfully demonstrate the active participation and progress of the families..

Stronger together

Our project was a meeting place for everyone: 45 little and big explorers, especially from single-parent families with a migration background, were present. Even though the start was a bit bumpy due to visa issues, it only made us more creative: We simply went straight to the parks and public squares to cook, do crafts and laugh together..

What remains?

Sustainability is not a dry topic for us, but a way of life. Our participants have now experienced the "aha moment": They now know exactly how they can make their everyday lives more sustainable – from plastic-free shopping to urban gardening..

„"Once the participants knew more about why certain actions harm the environment, they showed themselves willing to change their behavior permanently.".“

The journey continues! You can still find our quizzes, summaries, and tips on our website, so that the seeds of diversity can continue to sprout throughout Berlin..
