Global New Generation is a recognized provider of independent child and youth services in Berlin and works in transcultural child and youth education.
The organization offers regular, low-threshold activities, excursions, holiday camps and holiday programs for families from marginalized groups.
The organization works preventively, cooperating with the Friedrichshain youth welfare office and the prevention officer of police precinct 51.
The organization is financed through project funding, donations, membership fees and services.
Every person is unique and valuable.
Our aim is the recognition of all people as full members of our society.
The well-being and future of future generations depend significantly on the survival of our planet. We are responsible and act sustainably.
In our offers we strengthen the self-confidence of the participants and give them the opportunity to learn all the tools they need to thrive in a changing global world. They learn to understand global connections, to question their own perspectives, and to take responsibility for themselves and their environment.
Professionals and families from diverse backgrounds work together in a ‘Brave Space’, a courageous, discrimination-sensitive space.
In order to meet the needs of the target groups, our team regularly undergoes further training and we offer topic-relevant information events for people with an educational mandate.
Our network has a global presence, and through joint projects we create a space for exchange. We establish points of contact, promote mentorships, and organize exchange trips.
Our working materials are always printed/accessible in several languages; even smaller local language groups have their place.
Global New Generation Berlin eV was founded in January 2008 as a parent initiative and registered as a non-profit association in the Charlottenburg register of associations in 2009.
