According to the German environmental organization Deutsche Umwelthilfe, "the sea is now one of the dirtiest places in the world." Plastic, petroleum, and chemicals threaten life in and around the water. Rivers carry our plastic waste into the oceans.
Plastic is even found in the Arctic and Antarctic, where no people live!

In the future, water will be the biggest cause of war worldwide. Why? Long periods of drought or torrential rains and floods, caused by global warming, threaten human life and social peace.

Wastewater from the kitchen, bathroom, or laundry is called greywater. It can be used twice in the household, for example, to water plants. It is easier to treat than wastewater from a toilet.
