The digital world is more than just consumption – it's a place to build, invent, and create! We are thrilled to present two exciting new projects at Global New Generation Berlin.
From February 2026, we will open our doors to all young explorers who are interested in looking behind the scenes of technology and design in an appreciative, discrimination-sensitive environment.
Digital Future – Creative with AI
For tech pioneers and game developers (ages 10 to 18)
Artificial intelligence is everywhere – but how does it actually work? In this workshop program, young people go from being consumers to creators.
What we do: We are developing our own interactive role-playing game! We will use AI tools for images and text, learn programming with Scratch, and critically discuss the opportunities and risks of AI.
Highlights: Designing your own games, creative coding, and a large public final presentation.
When: Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month (February – November 2026) and as a holiday workshop during the autumn holidays.
Blockitektinnen – Building, Designing, Coding
For all Minecraft fans and aspiring architects (ages 6 to 14)
In this project, Minecraft becomes a digital drawing board! Together we will visit architectural highlights in Berlin – such as Museum Island or the TV Tower – and let ourselves be inspired for our own worlds.
What we do: Plan digital buildings, implement team projects in the game, and learn initial programming commands.
Highlights: Exciting excursions through Berlin and cooking together as a group.
When: Every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month (February – November 2026) and as a holiday workshop during the summer holidays.
